Elliot is a hard-working, but lonely elephant. He is eager to enjoy the company of other elephants in his environment. He often wonders why, unlike him, they are able to roam freely. With the help of a free-flying friend, Elliot discovers the difference between thinking and believing. Then, for the first time ever, the elephant begins to believe and explore life-transforming possibilities! In the end, Elliot creates his own new reality. Children of all ages will enjoy this insightful and inspirational experience with "real-life" themes of belief, confidence, empowerment and breakthrough.

For years, I have assisted adults with elevating their self-esteem and fulfilling their dreams.  Recently I asked the questions: What about the children? How can I raise an awareness for the critical need for an enhanced self-concept?

Hi. My name is Fran Briggs. I am a motivational speaker and the author of the children's inspirational book, "Don't Think Like an Elephant!" This book has helped hundreds of children of all ages discover and then realize their natural potential and abilities. It empowers its readers by championing them with an abundance of possibilities, opportunities and encouragement.

I was inspired to write "Don't Think Like an Elephant" after I moderated a 25-minute, successful intervention with a seven year-old, "troubled and at-risk," student.  Using the book's themes: belief, empowerment, confidence and breakthrough, I helped the youth vividly see what was possible for his life.  The student -- according to his second grade teacher -- was not only "brilliantly transformed," but immediately began teaching what he learned to other students.

Nothing compares to helping a child exceed their own expectations. My aim is to help children all over the world realize their greatness within. I plan to do this by delivering, "Don't Think Like an Elephant: The National Reading & Discovery Tour."  I will visit 1,126 schools; representing 900 school districts in the United States, over a period of 15 months. It is my intent to read the book to students from as many as three schools a day. The goal is to leave 4 complimentary copies of "Don't Think Like an Elephant!" in each school's library. Wow! That's 6,132 books that have the capacity to transform the lives of the most precious segment of our population for the greater.

This is an exciting program that promises not only to positively impact the United States of America, but the entire world. Research conclusively proves that most adolescents lack the inspiration and foundational tools needed to see beyond their limitations and realize their goals and ambitions.  "Don't Think Like an Elephant: The National Reading & Discovery Tour" intends to alter these findings.

This is a fantastic team-building opportunity. 10% of your donation will be given to the Phoenix, Arizona Children's Hospital. I am looking for enthusiastic, flagship, partners who can help me introduce this innovative, message-filled, inspirational charmer to children across America and ultimately -- to the entire world. Your donation to this exciting project is extremely important.  It addresses the urgent need for elevating the self-esteem in children everywhere. This Reading Tour will be challenging, but pales in comparison when it comes down to how rewarding it will be.

Thank you very much for your support and generous donation. Please, feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might want to contribute as well!  Your gift really means a lot to Don't Think Like an Elephant: The National Reading & Discovery Tour, and children all over the world.

Demples Kennard,  TX 02/03/06 $65.00 To all of you who read it: Didn't you find Don’t Think
Like an Elephant
motivational?  I must say that I, as a mother of 5, really enjoyed reading the book to and
with
my 7 year old.  (The others read it on their own).
The layout and animation, were created solely for children.  It is a success story; it teaches them boldness.
A book of this kind can really boost a child's esteem to
higher heights.  I applaud you Fran.
